Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SAT Edge platform, including the marketing website and the practice/learning dashboard (together, the "Service"), operated as an independent SAT preparation program based in Bhopal, India.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If your account was created on your behalf by a parent, guardian, or instructor, their acceptance of these Terms on your behalf is treated as binding for the purposes of account use.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for students preparing for the Digital SAT, generally aged 13 and above. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian is aware of and has consented to your use of the Service.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred to another individual.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

4. Free and Paid Access

SAT Edge currently offers free access to the practice platform, including full-length mock tests and score analytics. We may introduce paid plans in the future with additional features. If and when paid plans launch, pricing, billing terms, and refund policies will be clearly disclosed before any payment is collected, and existing free-tier functionality will not be retroactively restricted without notice.

5. Score Estimates and Accuracy

Scaled scores, projected scores, and domain-level analytics generated by the platform are estimates based on practice performance and an approximation of the official College Board scoring methodology. They are intended as a study aid and progress indicator, not a guarantee of actual SAT performance. Official SAT scores are determined solely by the College Board.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the platform's underlying systems, including any attempt to bypass scoring, authentication, or test-timing mechanisms.
• Share, copy, or redistribute question content outside the platform.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that disrupts other users' access.

7. Intellectual Property

All question content, explanations, branding, and platform design are the property of SAT Edge unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or modify the Service for maintenance, improvements, or unforeseen issues, and will aim to minimise disruption to active test attempts where possible.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. SAT Edge is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential outcomes related to your use of the platform, including but not limited to actual SAT exam performance or admissions outcomes.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including attempts to manipulate scoring or unauthorised access to platform systems.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
