SAT Edge ("we," "us," or "our") provides Digital SAT preparation services, including a practice platform for full-length adaptive mock tests. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected.
When you or your parent/guardian creates an account, we collect:
We do not collect payment information directly at this time, as paid plans are not yet active. When billing is introduced, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment gateway (e.g. Razorpay), and we will never store your card or banking details ourselves.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to any third party.
If your account was created on your behalf by an instructor or school administrator (rather than self-registered), that person is responsible for providing you with your login credentials and for ensuring appropriate consent was obtained from a parent or guardian where required.
Your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud database provider. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption before being saved. All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
Access to student data within our systems is restricted to authorised administrators only, and all data access on our platform goes through controlled, authenticated channels — direct, unauthenticated access to the underlying database is not possible.
We retain your account and performance data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide services to you. If you wish to have your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we will process the request within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention obligations.
You (or, for minors, your parent/guardian) have the right to:
Our service is intended for use by students aged 13 and above, typically in Grades 9–12. Where a student is a minor, we expect that a parent or guardian has reviewed and consented to this policy, either directly or through arrangement with the student's school or instructor.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the platform or by email where possible. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
